2016: Riparian planting continues with the help of whānau and community members including Te Wānanga o Aotearoa. 500 trees and harakeke planted at top end (pine trees) of Matanehunehu including small feeder waterway. 

Awa monitoring continues - Waitara East School who have come for a noho at the marae learn how to use SHMAK kit.
